OPERATIONS MANAGER

Direct Managerial responsibility for 4 different Departments and also take responsibility to deputise for the Head of Operations when required.  This person will co-ordinate and manage the daily aerodrome activities in accordance with CAA Regulations, the Aerodrome Manual and Safety Management System to ensure that a safe and efficient operation is maintained

 The core competencies are as follows :-

 Airport Operations Expertise:

  • Must have a solid understanding of airport operations, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
  • Must have a working knowledge of CAA Regulations (CAP 168)

Leadership and Communication Skills:

  • Excellent leadership abilities to manage a diverse team.
  • Effective communication with various stakeholders, including airlines and vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

  • The ability to think quickly and have the adaptability to handle unexpected situations.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Conflict Resolution:

  • The ability to resolve conflicts between different departments or stakeholders.

Compliance and Time Management:

  • Ensuring compliance with airport regulations.
  • Efficiently managing staff schedules and operational tasks
