Job description:
Job Title: Landside Operations Assistant
Reporting to: Landside Operations Supervisor
Department: Operations Team, Gloucestershire Airport
Hours: Average of 40 hours per week over a 7-day period to include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (to cover opening hours 0830-1930).
Your role as a Landside Operations Assistant will be to plan and carry out daily operational activities, providing a customer service interface to all customers,working closely with all Airport departments, and based Operators.

Operational
· Booking aircraft in and out using specialist systems and coordinating with ATC.
· Monitoring the main airport switchboard and inbox.
· Collecting fees from visiting aircraft.
· Providing weather information to pilots.
· Sending flight plans and dealing with messages relating to flight planning.
· Receive paperwork on behalf of the UKBA and Ports Unit and pass on to the relevant authorities.
· Carry out the dedicated role in emergency situations in accordance with the company Emergency Orders.
Administration
· Daily reconciliation of landing and fuel sales.
· Maintaining company spreadsheets
· Security pass issuance
· Issuing documents in accordance with the company Document Control Procedure.
About you:
In order to be considered for this role you must possess the following
· Excellent Customer service standards and professionalism
· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· The ability to work well within a team environment as well as the ability to work under your own initiative
· Strong administration skills - must be proficient in using Outlook, Excel and Word
· Proven ability to work under pressure
· Ability to work shifts
Previous Aviation experience is highly desirable but not essential.
Successful applicants will undergo a 'Counter Terrorism Clearance Check'. A 5-year checkable history is required with a minimum of 3 years within the UK.
